Not-Knowing how to be in control of your life
- means you are being controlled by the world - being told what to do - by forces, beliefs, and people that don't care at all about you and what is best for YOUR life.
Not-Knowing where you are going in your life and why
- means you often choose what looks or feels good in the moment - but which rarely truly satisfies you.
- You become afraid to make decisions at all.
- And worse, you miss out on the amazing opportunities life has for you because you don't recognize them.
Not-Knowing which things are the right fit for you
- means you find yourself pulled in all kinds of conflicting directions. Leaving you feeling overwhelmed and exhausted.
- Because you don't know your true YES! you don't know how and where to say a clear No!
Not-Knowing the life-giving work you are designed to do
- means you end up with work that may pay the bills so you can survive, but your heart isn't in it.
- That kind of work drains your energy, your confidence and your sense of self-worth - which makes life that much more of a struggle and misery.
Not-Knowing and understanding your own worth and value and the amazing skills and abilities God created you with
- means you're more likely to struggle with feelings of being a failure, of not being enough, of not being able, etc.
- because you have mistakenly come to believe that and act as though that's truth (which it very definitely is not!) - it can feel and look like it is because it has become a self-fulfilling prophecy.
Not-Knowing how to have - or even knowing that you actually can have - a deeply loving and personal relationship with God
- means you struggle with feeling like you're failing Him
- you're missing out on what He has for you.
- So why would He want to love you, or want anything to do with you? (Which by the way is definitely not true - He does love you and He does want a relationship with you.)
Those are just some of the ways that Failing to Fulfill our Destiny and Not-Knowing become very costly.
But here's the GOOD NEWS!
Those negative things you struggle with - those are NOT the life God means for you to live!
So what does God want for you?
A Personal Relationship with Him
- so He can tell you just how deeply you are loved and treasured by Him (and when He tells you, it will come alive in your heart and you will know that you know that it's true!)
- so you can experience: the delight of getting to really know Him, the pleasure of working together with Him, the thrill of being taught by Him (He is an awesome Teacher!), knowing you have His blessing, and so much more.

- clearly knowing who you are and and what you uniquely have to give.

Here's the truth.
You are amazing - an utter and stunning wonder of creation. Look at the incredible miracle of your physical life - at all that your body does and can do - at the way all your body systems function together, at how you are able to see and hear and smell and taste and feel. Look at the magnificent details of a single cell in your body, at the way your brain works, and so much more.
Look at yourself - as the living person your are - you can choose, you can think and plan, you can imagine and create. You can love, you can feel joy and delight. You can be. You have potential beyond anything you can imagine. You can have purpose and vision. You can be happy and fulfilled.
How amazing is that?!!
And yet somehow we end up living lives that are miserable and unhappy and so much less than we are capable of. Why?
As I said earlier, I think it begins with a lack of knowledge - Not-Knowing. We don't know any better. We haven't been told or taught anything better.
That's where I found myself at age thirty. Deeply depressed, with a life that felt like a huge failure. And I didn't know why - because I had honestly tried my best to live the life I had been told to live.
But what I had been taught - by my family, my church, my education, my work, my world - turned out to be not enough, and also often just plain wrong, really, really wrong! (That was a tough pill to swallow!)
It took me making a powerful commitment that I would either find a better way to live or die trying - to start me on a journey that would hugely change my life for the better.
It turns out there are answers to be had. Good ones. And that's what I want to share with you.
After years of research and exploration I have come to understand that there is some basic life knowledge we all need if we truly want to succeed in life.

Now we will explore what you have been uniquely designed to do. This comes out of your clarity about your Identity.
Here we will explore YOUR Purpose, your Vision - where you are going/what you are aiming for, and from that your Mission(s) - the thing(s) you will choose to do to achieve your Vision.
Getting clear on this will allow you to unapologetically start saying an action-taking YES! to what you know is for you, and No! to anything in your life that doesn't align with what you now know is YOUR calling.
4. Develop Wisdom
Wisdom is about developing the practical skills of living YOUR life successfully.
Here we will explore a number of very interesting and powerful ways of making life easier and better. For example - designing your environment to multiply your effectiveness (talk about creating a superhighway for yourself!).
5. YOUR Creativity
YES! you do have this secret superpower, life-changing skill! (even though most people think they don't!).
First of all, please understand that creativity is not just for artists! This is a skill that is meant to be used in EVERY area of life.
And EVERYONE has the ability to be creative!
There are studies that have shown that young children test at 98% genius levels of creativity. YEAH!! Read that again! 98% Genius Levels of Creativity!
That is a genuine part of our God-given design. But we live in a world that has basically trained creativity out of most of us - those same studies said that most adults at about age 30 only had about 2% of that creativity left.
When it comes to making YOUR Difference, this skill of Creativity is like an amazing Superpower. And each person has their own version of Creativity - their own unique ways and places where they are best creative.
And the wonderful news is that they now know that our brains are capable of learning all our lives long - and Creativity is a skill that can be learned and developed. So it is well worth claiming back YOUR Creativity.
